TK vs Q

in a St. Patty's day massacre, 93Q had probably 10x the number of people show up at their live morning remote. TK was at Kitty Hoynes to a maximum capacity of maybe 20 at the most at any time. Q on the other hand was loaded at Colemans. Something to think about adversiters... who delivers that audience??

So Many Questions...

> Something to think about adversiters... who delivers that audience??

Something to think about adverstisers... who delivers the audience with the most money to spend??

And how old were the audience members delivered by each station?

And who would you rather have hanging around your place of business?

And once again, 93Q tries to take credit for a crowd that would have shown up whether they were there or not, just like Balloonfest. St. Patrick's Day at Coleman's? Duh... anyone with the day off from work and even a little Irish in them would be there anyway. Sounds more like 93Q had better advertiser connections to set up their event, I mean Coleman's is a bigger place than Kitty Hoynes so if Station A sets up at Coleman's and Station B sets up at Kitty Hoynes, then yeah more people will be at Station A's event. The name of the station had NOTHING to do with it... Sorry... But keep bragging anyway...

Colemans was packed all last Summer for their Block Party's with TK...
do you think 93Q would outdraw them this Summer if they set up at Kitty Hoynes on Thursday nights?

Proud to be compared to 93Q on any level. They're a heritage station that's been around a lot longer than TK99 and they have 97,000 watts of power to TK's 5,700 watts! And yet we're right with them in the Adult demos...ahead in some areas. We're really like a school from a mid-major conference that consistently finds itself in the Final Four. Or like The Simpsons in the earlier days, outperforming shows from the larger networks which enjoyed wider coverage than FOX stations.

Could it possibly be that we're actually doing something right??? Or wait, I guess it's only because our competitors are doing things wrong. Of course isn't that part of the equation in any competition? When you're beating your competitor (in radio, horseshoes or dry cleaning), that means you're doing things BETTER than they are.

This past week on our morning show...interviews with Little Steven Van Zandt, Boomer Esiason, Jay Bilas, Steve Kroft from 60 Minutes, original parodies about Gerry McNamara and Syracuse hoops...next week...Donald Trump...we're having a great time! How about you???

> your show sucks
...Good one! That hurt. It's REALLY disturbing that our "show sucks" to someone creative enough to come up with that clever slam. Of course, that assumes that I really am Dave Coombs of the Gomez & Dave Show. And if the G&D Show really DOES suck, it sucks A LOT LESS than the competition. And that's all that really matters. BTW, does your angry and negative attitude have an adverse effect on others around you in your personal life? I bet it does.

Phil Markert could have been at Coleman's on St Patty's Day and the place would have still been packed. 93Q being there had nothing to do with the crowd there on St Patty's Day. A bunch of my friends from work go there every year and believe me it has nothing to do with 93Q being there...we could care less.

In the immortal word of Keanu Reeves (and damn if I haven't been saving this one for a good occasion...)...

Whoa.

Like totally WTFPWNED, huh? Geeze, did you leave any of your heart and soul for the rest of your life after coming up with that epic slam? I am sure that even now Dave is in a closet sucking his thumb and whimpering because some pathetic schmuck thinks his show sucks. Well, he WOULD be, but he's down in Florida getting hitched (WTG, Dave!), and it's probably hard to be miserable and thumb-sucky when your getting your groove on during your honeymoon.

But I'm SURE he'll get right on it for ya.

MOney/brian/doofus....quit sharing your hallucinations....you haven't been on the radio in DECADES....
