TLC CANCELS KATE PLUS 8

That crap lasted 8 seasons?
Holy cow.

I guess the next best thing is to wait it out for Kate Plus Quinceañera.
She'll have to take on a job doing real work during the downtime.

now cancel 19 kids and counting that show is a waste of film

Unfortunately the film isn't "wasted" if it attracts a sizable audience and from where I sit there are a lot more of "those" that enjoy seeing these trainwrecks than the one's that don't. It's the deconstruction of Western Civilization Part Umpteen. Apparently, it started around the time of punk music, then heavy metal and flash forward here we are at reality programming.

I think the latter is more of a cause of soggy cerebellum.

I believe her ex is named Jerry or something-or-other...

The joke going around is that TLC needed an opening on their schedule for the new "Casey Anthony Show".

Or TLC could try to go after the Octomom as a replacement for Kate--remember her? Wouldn't surprise me if that happened.
You might rethink that if you saw her recent appearance on the Today show! On the other hand, that might be exactly what they want!

Welcome to The Reality Channel! Somebody already took the Idea of Casey Anthony and Octomom from the list of replacements for Kate. How about Rick Perry and Bachmann since the craze around this time to Election 2012 is to put a reality show on Tea Party Candidates. Remember when Fox News pundit Sarah Palin had her show on TLC for Awhile all because there were "Rumours" of a 2012 Tea Party run for the presidency.

I like how the show was issued on DVD. The thought of people liking this show enough to add it to a "collection" of home viewing cracks me up. Yet somehow they can't get other shows issued on DVD <sigh>

Woo! I had to work extra hard to avoid TLC for a couple of years so I wouldn't accidentally stumble upon this disgrace (Kate...not the show).
