TMO Streaming and Websites

Oh sure, they wait until WLIR is no longer to finally get some decent looking web sites.
I guess there was no point in paying to have nice sites designed for 3 stations when one was sadly going to be short-lived.

All in all a nice job. It should be even better once all the DJs get their bios submitted!

The Party 105 and LaFiesta websites are up and while they are a work in progress, and least its something. Each has a Listen Live link that actually works. The streaming audio is still supplied by WarpRadio but they've increased bandwidth to 32KB and the sound is very much improved.

Thats better then what was there before..but the ads are great..Maxwell and Dunnes-owned by TMO and Whitehouse- which Vic Latino owns..Party105 is pathetic

Its all business, no more WLIR overhead, and a well paying LMA gives them the money to upgrade the other two. Sux but lets face it, WLIR and its format have just been 'parked' at 107.1 until they could trash it for some $$$. It seems the only way TMO ever got WLIR to make money was to sell it or lease it.

That is hysterical. Maxwell and Dunnes and Whitehouse. Those 2 advertisers must be real revenue generators for them. As Ive stated many times before, TMO has made many right moves in the last several months. Most of the moves were criticized by many of you and Ive stood up and admired their moves, including this last move the LMA. I have also said that their management at times leaves a lot to be desired and them "advertising" their own ventures is laughable at best.

And dont forget that TMO is the greatest company in the history of the world..duh!

TMO is finally going in the right direction. The acquisition of 101.5 in Nassau doubled Party 105's potential audience, and LMAing 107.1 got some much needed cash. Many of Party 105's original jocks are back, and the website and stream are great. I just wish that they could make the translator on 105.3 in Connecticut into a booster for Party 105.

...actually sometime last year, maybe October 2007the stream went down on both DRE and LIR. A few weeks later it came back. Same lousy audio (actually a little worse) but the bit rate increased from 20 kbps to 32kbps.

The LIR still has that lousy audio at 32kbps and is streaming LaFiesta mms://64.92.199.74/WLIR-FM

Party seems to have cleaned up the audio somewhere between the board and Warp Radio mms://64.92.199.74/WDRE-FM

I don't get one thing..why everyone thinks TMO needs money..for some reason is sincerely doubt it, they made plenty with 92.7

they dont need the money. The problem is their short arms dont reach the bottom of their long pockets. they exploit everything possible. The truth is that if they were to invest just a little money in their stations, they might actually be a true powerhouse to contend with. Instead they have great ideas that dont incubate.
