She Works Hard For The Money was written about a restroom attendent at a Grammy party
with notes scribbled down on TP.
She was A grade even though some thought she was B grade. They claim she started the
whole Crossover movement. Nice that she could sing and didn't need cuss words or slang
to get there.............many could learn a bit from her today.
Yesterday, a radio host in Philadelphia (Randy Michaels' new station, in fact) said Donna is "no longer working hard for the money." Yikes! (She was actually recording a new album that was due to be released this year - and may very well still be released posthumously.)
