TNT To Get "Hawaii Five-O" Reruns

i tried hawaii five-o when it came on and i occasionaly see an episode to see if it has gotten better.i did because i am a fan of the original.the remake is such a disapointment.

it is a remake not as good as the original.the original mcgarret was a by the book cop but was able to project charisma at the same time.,he was businesslike but likeble at the same time.

the rest of the new five-o squad lacks addiquate personality also.the closest to having a personality is "i don`t care for hawaii much but i am here for my kid " rants and thats not sayng much.

how it became such a high rated show is beyond me.

Is it still on CBS? After your post, I hadn't thought of it nor heard any promos lately for that show.

Yes, and getting decent to good ratings. More than that, the producers have been very successful in selling the show to other countries...kind of a Baywatch for the Teens, so to speak.

So multiple seasons are a good bet unless ratings in the US totally tank. And it seems like most new CBS police procedurals get decent ratings (for some reason I can't explain), so I think we'll have the new McGarrett and Danno around for a good while.

I'm just happy H50 won't be taking up space on my few OTA stations. Maybe that will leave room for a good syndicated re-run.

It also has a good lead in from CBS's comedy line up with 2 1/2 Men included. Put it on a Thursday or Wednesday evening, it could be a different story.

TNT is a perfect fit as their the place for Drama.

If CBS was still part of Viacom you think we would be seeing this show go to Spike TV? As they have CSI and CSI NY, they also wanted CSI Miami but A&E put more money on the table.

Actually they share CSI:NY with TNT and CSI:LV with USA (as of a few months ago) with USA getting the full package of syndication rights in a year or two, I believe.

Oh yeah I forgot. TNT picked up the rights last year or year before for night time rights, can't remember which.
