To All the 92.9 Dave FM fans out there

Yes I like 92.9 Dave FM its a good damn AAA station in ATL but we all going to miss it as they flip soon to sports. Im from the Tallahassee Florida area as I listren on CBS Radio App. But some good news for ur 92.9 Dave FM fans there another radio station just like Dave is The River. (Not 97.1 The River Atl) I hope I dont get u guys cousfed when I said that but Im saying there another good AAA station in Boston Mass and u have to download the Tune In Radio App on your andorid and backberry and iphone. The station in Boston Mass area is 92.5 The River http://www.wxrv.com/ Great DJ's like Dave FM great AAA music like Dave FM. Give it a try for all the people who like 92.9 Dave FM.

Thanks for the tip. It added it to my favorites on Tune In. You might also try The Peak and WFUV both out of NYC or KCSN out of LA. I can never keep WFUV's stream for very long but love the programming.

@Lee Anderson u can download the iheartradio app on ur phone or tablets just about anywhere when u download the iheartradio app for free. I have 1 question for u guys. I know there alot of AAA radio stations but most of them are not the same. Like 92.9 Dave FM ATL and 92.5 The River Boston (both) play new AAA music mix with 80's and a few 70's here and there but mostly 80's and 90's to today rock.

Some radio stations play older AAA music mostly 70's type with classtic rock with a few here and there new AAA rock bands in betweeen. Like here in Tallahassee 106.1 The Path plays older AAA music than the new AAA music like 92.9 Dave FM and 92.5 The River Boston. What the diffent between those radio stations playing AAA music?

Trouble is, I live an Australia. Because of CCM+E restrictions, I can't even download the iHeartradio app. I would love to listen to KBCO (CCM+E) and KFOG (Cumulas), but can't. This is all the more baffling as CCM+E are 50-50 shareholders in an Australian radio company, that streamed the iHeartradio Festival on one of their Hot A/C Digital (HD) channels.

Could you find some way to, ahem, acquire ;) the app outside of your device's app store and then sideload it onto your device?

I'm pretty sure that if you root your device, you'll be able to do that.
You don't have to root an Android device just to sideload an app from an Android APK file (you just have to find the file!). Plenty of websites discuss sideloading non-Market Android apps.

You do have to jailbreak an iOS device, though, to sideload apps onto them.

Even then, you still may not be home free depending on what kind of IP address detection and blocking CC is using. You might have better luck on a computer where you can spoof your IP address or use a proxy.

Bonne chance!

It is a rights issue. IHeardRadio produces original content and is large enough to be on the radar of the music royalty companies. So, they block any IP addresses outside the USA. If you try to watch Netflix, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, etc. outside the USA a screen will popup telling you that you are not in the USA at the moment.

A lot of local radio stations do not block international IP addresses and some do. It is just a roll of the dice as to who you can listen to outside the USA.
