Good news this morning when I went in for my daily radiation treatment.
My tumor is shrinking. I don't know by how much but the doctor said that the shrinkage is pretty obvious.
My love to everyone who has prayed for me and wished me well. It is certainly working! 🄰

Everyone:
I started more intense radiation this morning. Not more power, just a more tightly focused beam of 3GHz energy. It's causing more pain and more throat/airway spasms. The doctor has ordered this: diphenhydrAMINE-alum-mag hydroxide-simeth-lidocaine viscous-nystatin oral suspension. Over-the-counter, it's about $37. Nobody has it. There is a shortage of Lidocaine. I had to get it from a Compounding Pharmacy at a cost of $150. Insurance will not cover it. At least, they will deliver it to my door. The radiation is kicking my ass. I have very little energy but getting lots of rest and sleep. I'm now in the middle of week #5. A couple more weeks to go.

Thank you for your support. It means a great deal to me and helps me get through the treatment.

Everyone,

I had an issue on Monday and had to be taken to the ER, coughing up lots of thick "goo."
While there, I was tested for RSV, COVID and Pneumonia. I tested negative for all. The issue is being caused by the radiation treatments.
A couple more drugs are clearing up my lungs.
Due to the visit to ER, I had to skip chemo and radiation for that day.
My Oncologist has increased the strength and frequency of my pain medication, making it possible to cough up the "sludge" and sleep soundly.
Went for more radiation yesterday and today. I'm extremely weak, using a wheelchair to get to and from the treatments.
Getting close to the end of my treatments.
DavidEduardo is doing the work for both of us. I can't thank him enough.
My love and appreciation to each and every one of you.
