Buddy....Chris....(I laughed when I saw this posted on the CBS.com (CSI-Miami) website and I thought about you two (HA!). This is from a poster on that site.

CSIMiami,

I would like to begin a fund to pay for acting lessons for David Caruso. He badly needs them. It's seldom one sees an actor so poorly prepared to fill a roll. CBS may decide to replace this fellow with someone properly equipped to present perhaps interesting stories. He is so predictable in all areas you know what he will say an look like. Pathetic. Hopefully another network will have a good altenative.

JWM2020

The people on that site took the comment seriously. I busted out laughing and told Leslie, Buddy and Chris needs to see this! They know I'm a big Horatio fan! (HA!). The poster was JWM2020. I wonder who JWM is? This person couldn’t spell right. I got a big kick out of that post and I just want to share this with you two. Now Chris, Put on them shades and be the Big “H” of Clear Channel! Where is anybody's sense of humor!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! May we all get some good laughs this year!

Now that's funny! Caruso's transition lines are the only reason to watch!
My favorite takes place after a student at a modeling school is killed...Frank asks Caine "what this a random act?"...
and Horatio's response: "No Frank...it was 'by design'..." cue The Who scream here.

I think it's one of the dumbest shows...okay, forgot Miami Vice,.. but Karen likes it and I sit here and make fun of Horatio. Knew I didn't care much for it before, but watching Romer doing the bits..I can't help but think, 'gee he's bad' every time I see it.
Scott, go ahead and enjoy it...and I'll admit to liking Leslie's choices more than yours.
Happy New Year

hardly erver watch the "horatio" csi's..but really like the vegas ones with gil grissom..nowhere near as good since he left the show..

Chris, you do those lines so well, I think you're in the wrong career. You should have been an actor. You memorized those lines and quoted them back so well, maybe you should play the part of Horatio Caine. My mother lives part-time and owns a condo in Punta Gorda, Fl. It's so hot down there, how can the cast wear those long sleeve coats with the temps each day in the 80's and 90's. Maybe CBS needs to recruit you to show and you show them how to do CSI-Miami. Just think of all the fame you would have!

This little fat man (me) here couldn't stand it; I've got to lose some weight!

The CSI-Vegas that Deltas mention, which is still on Thursday nights. The part of Gissom was played by William Peterson. He had to leave the show due to problems with his heart/health problems.

Now let's get back to regular radio programming! Everybody go back to chewing and spitting out Lew Dickey and Cumulus! 97.1 WRQQ, Nashville's Most Boring Radio Station, in my opinion.

Carusos acting can be compared to early Shatner (Star Trek era). Only difference is Shatner got better, I doubt Caruso ever will. He's no Denny Crane. The only other tv show I recall Caruso being a part of (NYPD Blue) got better after he left.

The damn writers ruined Denny Crane's character the last two seaons. I wonder how many times he said his own name in the entire series. That was good TV. Hilarious and Spader was perfect to team Shatner up with. (if you wanna good laugh, go to Rumba on West End. A friend of mine manages the place and he is a dead ringer for a younger James Spader.)

As for trashin 97.1 WRQQ, Scott. Just remember, our buddy over there Mac (I gotta believe a man born with no last name can be expected to be a bit temperamental, I guess) threatened to meet me (or some poster) in the alley for saying one of the last fifty format tweaks wouldn't last a month. Hmm!

I never hear from him on here anymore, but he's been at RQQ for longer than everyone else I guess. Oh, and that alley by the station is full of all the old signs from all the old monikers they've trashed.
