Is anyone successfully using a sound card that is not the Digigram Vx222? According to the BE engineer I spoke with, the only officially supported sound card is the Digigram Vx222 he wouldn't budge on what other people are using besides that card.

Thanks!

What's wrong with the VX222? I use that in my home studio. It's awesome

I own the AV system at my place and it runs the same card with no problems BUT I engineer for a college that wanted AV AND to use their own computer (and card). AV will NOT support any other cards and initializing them is a nightmare.

There is nothing wrong with it other than price. My GM won't spring for a $500+ sound card for a non on air work station. Thanks to everyone who replied.
