To the people who are here because of KCJJ:

Radio-Info will not allow to use our site for whatever agendas you are trying to get across.

I apologize to the rest of the readers of this board who have had to put up with this crap for the past few weeks. We will continue to ban any users and wipe out any posts that are wasting our bandwidth so they can promote or demean others on our site.

We're here for intelligent discussion of the broadcasting industry. If you're not interested in that then find somewhere else to go.<P ID="signature">______________

Let's see... people coming on here and talking about what Captain and Tommy had for breakfast is intelligent conversation?

Thanks Lance for cleaning things up!

Maybe those with a vendetta against Norton and everyone at KZIA will be next to get "offed"...

I agree. This is not the forum to rip on people, whether they deserve it or not.
Can't we all just get along?

Thanks Lance I cant back u less for cleaning up the site. Its almost like we are all living in a much more modern manor. I believe if we all put our regency together we will all have a much better site!

Removing Lance = Best Thing Ever Done By Radio-info.comPolicies were not applied consistently. Skeezix clearly posted a degrading, libelous message toward a woman (I can't remember her name), and he/she was never banned. The message wasn't even removed. Then, a bunch of us were banned for making goofy posts. Seriously, which is worse, slander or satire?

This is wonderful. The garbage that has been spewed by a few immature representatives of our industry has been painful and agonizing to watch unfold on this site. I am pleased to see that we won't have to put up with it in the future.Really, when you think about it, its pretty sad that people who are supposedly professional adults act so incredibly immature, it is a terrible representation of our industry. Why do you think radio is often thought of as second-class compared to newspaper and television...its crap like what we have had to read through in the past several months.

There is nothing wrong with FREE SPEECH, no one has ever questioned FREE SPEECH, it is FRIENDLY SPEECH that is being questioned... YOU CAN USE FREE SPEECH as a way to insult others and make crude slams at people, but what a weak shield to use. If you want to make fun of someone, or call someone a name, then just do it, because you have a right too, but remember other people have a right to say you are an idiot for posting on here...

free speech is dead...
I hope nobody gainfully employed by a media entity actually considers the above an intelligent response. You're Constitutionally guaranteed 'free speech' has not been attacked, nor denied, by anyone on this board.

That new rival website really sucks. It's the same old crap as before. I think the Flemings should sue Lance for copying the site design. We should have been singing "The 12 Days of Lance's Firing", beginning with his original post for this thread.

Even though the letter of "free speech" restrains only the government, doesn't it still have an applicable spirit even outside a governmental context? Perhaps that's what RGB is referring to...
