To Peter George:RE:WICA TV Ashtabula, Ohio

Hello Peter:
I found the WICA-TV articles in the Astabula Star-Beacon Archives..I did use them as a basis for a three part series on the station in my Cleveland Classic Media Blog..Here's a link to the Archive Index

http://www2.suite224.net/~editorsb/updates/archives/

scroll down to the wica.zip folder and download the folder..There will be several WICA articles..WICA, WICA2 and WICA3 are primarily about the TV station..Hope this help you getting the WICA-15 story in the UHF Morgue.

My blog, if you wish to check it out..

Hi Tim (and crew)
Received your info about WICA-15. Give me a couple of days and I will have the exhibit on-line. Surprisingly, I am totally amazed on how much e-mail and interest regarding I have received regarding this long since deceased member of the broadcasting community, WICA-TV. But, I can see the reason. This was homebrew TV, before the days of cable access and big UHF independents. Sort of like a latter day KDOC. This exhibit will be one of my favorites as well. Be patient, and check the Morgue next week! Thanks for the interest!
-Pete

Any info on the long now-defunct Fredericksburg, VA NBC affilate WHFV channel 69 ?
Love to know more about that station since there is very little info about them online or really anyplace else.
Its on the UHF Morgue site as "coming soon".
