To WSLY In York Alabama...

Hope your new "Gospel Hits" format will have success and have a powerful impact upon your coverage area. ;)

Heard some very familiar tunes on here. I'm assuming that the new format will be Southern Gospel.

I'll be keeping you and the new format in my prayers.

Now if WZNJ in Demopolis would get born again, that would impress and excite me. Their current format still bores me to death.

WSLY isn't the only "born again" station in Meridian. WZKR (103.3) recently relaunched with a CCM/Christian AC format. I heard it was sold... anyone know to whom? I know that it's not a K-Love station.

WZKR was sold to Ron Harper....former GM at Clear Channel Meridian and most recently Urban Radio. He should do well with it....he's a great sales guy and was the backbone of the CC cluster. Good luck Ron

Thank You RDP for the kind words, we have had a very positive response from the whole Twin States area. Yes, we are Southern Gospel.

Now if we could get WZNJ from Demopolis to ditch Urban and go for something else, that'll be awesome.

If they want to stay Urban, then more power to them.

Glad that your radio station switched over to SG. Wish I was able to tune in, on a regular basis.

Since I live just outside your eastern fringe area, I'll have to keep on listening to my CD's and when I'm in the mood, to Brother Rob Moore (91.9 and soon to be 89.5 in Selma) and Mr. Don Wildmon. (91.1)

While I'm doing that, I'm still working on starting up another Christian Radio station, for spiritually dead Selma Alabama.  Hope God will soon see me through.
