They were not taken with a digital camera...instead, with one of those "use once" cameras available at any CVS, etc. In fact, I haven't even had them developed yet.

One of our regular posters, Eli Polonsky, suggested that perhaps the building
and/or tower hasn't been torn down yet. Take a trip over there and see, if you can.

Tower is still up, buiding is still there, albeit covered with weeds.

If you really want pics I work 3 mins away, right next door to WXKS and near WJMN's studios.

From my seat I see the 590 towers, the FNX tower in Malden (for the time being) the XKS AM tower and WILD on Commercial st.

I can get pics on the way home if you want them

I just wish Medford wasn't controlled airspace or I'd do a fly over and snap some pics. I love flying over transmitter sights ( usually at 2000 ft) and checking them out

I hate to say it, but that's been the condition of the place for years!

There was WIDE OPEN (EXPOSED) telephone wire connection box on a pole next to the building when I took my pics in June. Anyone could have vandalized it.
It's really unbelieveable.

Also, as far as I can see, the base of WILD's tower has no fencing around it.
What would be the station's liability if a curious kid (or not too smart adult) walked up to the base of the tower and touched it while RF was being supplied.
Am I wrong to assume that a person would receive a very nasty RF burn from that?

Maybe one of those wires was the feed for the missing stereo channel.

When did WJMN move their studios from Bear Hill Road in Waltham?
