First off I was really looking forward to two things today. First off was the Pulse 87 stream,,, I even dreamed about it last night, thats how excited I was. Secondly, My girlfriend was supposed to come up and stay with me today, and she called me up to tell me she is in a bad mood and needs her space, and wont be coming to see me for awhile,,, Sounds as if she wants to break up again, and she isnt accepting my landline calls, and her cell is turned off. So instead of setting here with my girl enjoying New Yorks new Rhythmic Dance Station, I am setting here with my cat, listening to The Original Hot 97 stream, as Tony Santiago said to do until the pulse stream gets launched.... I am just really down in the dumps today, both things I were looking forward to are not happening today, and me and my girl could be coming to an end..... So as for now, im all alone, and listening to these Sad Freestyle songs like INSIDE OUTSIDE, and Silent Morning which isnt really helping to lift my moral much. :(
 
Well the stream is now up, but still no word from my girl..... Oh well, you cant win em all I guess.
 
BTW guys, im sorry about talking about my personal issues here on a radio board, but I just was really feelin down and needed to tell someone. At least the Pulse stream will give me something to take my mind off all the stress and cheer me up a bit. Anyway, her Mom says she isnt home, but her cell is turned off, im guessing she may be at her EXes house, or else she is home and just wont talk to me, I didnt even do anything, and I bought her a nice V-Day gift, and gave her a free satellite radio to expose her to more Dance. I would hate to lose another Dance Fan female, but my god she is moody and tends to dump me every other week. She really only likes mainstream Dance anyway, I cant get her interested in the underground stuff, and she hates mixshows. So she is only an average listener and not a true Dance fan.
 
No offense but she sounds like a nut. If you didn't do anything to her and she keeps dumping you I say get another girl. Life is too short bro. Don't sit around being depressed.

Like the others have said, throw that fish back in the sea.
If you feel like Pulse 87 ain't enough you've got hundreds of other Dance stations online at your fingertips.
Lastly, and most importantly, if you feel like you're about to explode simply run to the bathroom and take a massive dump. You'll feel a lot better afterwards and prolly won't feel the need to post such crap here ;D
 
Well, were broke up for good now. :( no worries, ive already got a few more lined up.
 
ehh all the girls i was with who liked dance were slutty and you always found them where you met them..at the club.
try for a nice top 40 chick...they don't club as much LOL
 
My girl was a top 40 chick, her favorite station was her local WDJX Louisville. I just got her exposed to Dance through XM, and Party 105, and other stations on the net, and now thats almost all she listens too. She was constantly Downloading Dance, and was always calling me for Song I.Ds, which I often had to find out here. Too bad she is gone, she would have loved Pulse 87, cause she really liked The Original Hot 97 stream.... My ex girlfriend before that of 7 years was a huge Freestyle and Breaks fan, but she hated Trance and most house,,, she also loved Rap and Reggeaton, which would often get on my nerves,,,, now I like Rhythmic top 40, but not that straight up Hardcore Gangsta crap that she and her new boyfriend embraced.
 
She dumped me on the day Pulse Launched... Well they say god never closes one door without opening another. Ive taken her everywhere on roadtrips in the region, nothing was ever good enough for her. She wants to go to Bahama's or Hawaii? Who in the world would want to go to the Bahamas, its hotter than hell, close to Cuba, and they dont even have a Dance, or even a CHR station there. That would be a boring trip unless XM worked there, but I can here XM at home. I really shouldnt have mentioned my personal life in this thread, if its all the same to you guys id like to drop the subject of my ex and just concentrate on Radio, that is after all what this board is for. Im even embarresed today for making such a big deal of it. Most Male Dance fans are single anyway, and millions of people get dumped and divorced every day, its all part of life and you learn from your mistakes. Trust me, I can survive on my own for awhile, I just miss the sex and having someone to cuddle with at night and share some good music with. At least I created a new Dance fan that actually legally downloads the music.
 
Dude, you will be fine trust me. I've went through the same ordeal a few months ago and it is not worth holding out for a girl that will keep you on a rollercoaster. Just relax and do what makes you happy, and it is obviously MUSIC. I know I couldn't survive without it. Jam your little heart out and get out of the house. Your better off bro, TRUST ME. Been there done that.
