Today is the Big Day!!!

On December 8, 2008, KLLI switched to a sports talk format branded as "105.3 The Fan." This change was not a complete overhaul as some hosts, notably morning host Jagger and his morning crew, survived the shift while others, including Russ Martin, were not retained.

Congratulations on the success The Fan has experienced in its first year on the air. You are dominating in your demo and in the ratings overall. Keep up the stellar broadcasting and have a happy first birthday!!! I am sure there are many more years of radio dominance in Dallas/Fort Worth to come. ::)

Is it December 8th or April 1st?...

Kevin Scott - gone
Greg Hill - gone
Ben & Skin - gone
Pete Stein - gone

No

In a three station race!

It's not a three station race. Don't forget all the other 25-54 male targeted stations. The Fan is beyond 20th somewhere.

Congratuations for paying Russ Martin millions to sit and home and pursue his hobbies while falling to 24th in your target demo!

How much money did CBS put into this failure? The cost of buying a 10-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys, paying out Russ' salary, continuing to pay out Jagger's salary, all the hosts they've brought in, all the advertising costs they've spent for no return, paying to put "Skin" on the Mavericks games to advertise the station... all for 24th in the target demo. Their balance sheet must look like a soggy napkin from all the red ink.

How did they let that gem Pete Stein get away.

Boy they will regret that... Kind of like letting Curt Meneffe going from the Ticket and Chanel 11 right?
