TODAYS ACTIVE ROCK COUNTDOWN

TAMPAS 98ROCK PROGRAMING IS STILL HORRIBLE...BAD REVENUE...HORRIBLE RATINGS...MUSIC
STUCK IN 1999 NOT 2009....PLAYING SAME CRAP EVERY DAY....2 MONTHS BEHIND MOST
ACTIVE ROCK STATIONS ON RELEASED NEW MUSIC.... I CAN GO ON AND ON!

THE "HIT ROCK" COUNTDOWN IS BACK AGAIN AND SHOWING ALL WHAT IS BEING PLAYED OUTSIDE
TAMPA AND S FLORIDA. 98ROCK BACK IN THE DAY USE TO DELIVER NEW ROCK MUSIC 1ST. THAT NEEDS
TO RETURN AND GET RID OF MOST (NOT ALL) OF THE SAME SONGS FROM 1993-2001 THEY OVERPLAY.
NEW ACTIVE ROCK IS BEATING ALT STATIONS THROUGHOUT 92% OF THE 18-34 AGE GROUPS OUTSIDE
OF MORNING DRIVES IN THE U.S. THE MID-MARKETS ARE SHOWING THE WAY WITH THE TOP 20 OF
WHAT IS ON DEMAND. SOUNDSCAN IN THE LOCAL MARKETS THAT RADIO USES LIKE 98ROCK DOESNT
SHOW THE "CORRECT" WAY OF LOOKING AT SALES. IF YOU DONT PLAY TODAYS MUSIC ON YOUR
RADIO STATION...IT WONT BE NOTICED UNLESS YOU INTERNET OTHER CITYS OUTSIDE YOUR MARKET.

HERE IS THE TOP 25 SONGS NATIONWIDE THRU MANY DIFFERENT CHARTS COMPUTERIZED AND
WHAT 98ROCKS MD-PD SHOULD BE HITTING PEOPLE WITH...

98Rock should be playing 8-9 of these songs every hour per set of 12 songs (per avg) with all
songs being played in a 3-4hr time frame. Actual list would be probably 32-36 Current charted
songs nationally.3-4 other songs in that hour set would be from all forms of 80s hair-80s metal-90s grunge-yesterdays top rock hits. But, You hit people with New Rock... you beat your competition with a Great Morning
Drive and Djs that can interact with its audiences and you create revenue with great ratings and
product you deliever in "Many Areas".

Aside from the fact that my brain cells would all be killed if I were on a (un)healthy diet of Slipknot, All That Remains, Drowning Pool and Saving Abel, I have to agree with you that an Active Rocker should be programed with the currents (like you mentioned below)

Yeah that playlist out of N.O. is horrible also... mostly Alt rock and 2-6 months behind released songs. I listen mostly to yes.com/khtq or rock945.com (same)

I just posted some of this under Whats the difference, but I have to mention in Fresno the two rock stations KRZR 103.7 and KFRR 104.1 Do play most of the songs on the list ,both will play Cyanide by Metallica, KRZR is a little harder will more Slipnot,Mudvayne, and Drowning pool, where KFRR will lean more on Coldplay,Seether, and Hinder. Both play new music 8 out of 12 an hour.Check them out on-line. One of the reasons the stick mostly will currents is because of CLASSIC ROCK KKBZ The Blaze that plays classic rock from 1969 to 2005. and 95.7 THE FOX that plays from 1965-1990.
