At a joint press conference held earlier today, Lew Dickey, Farid Suleman and John Hogan all pledged that they and their respective companies will put a premium on quality programming, even if in the shirt term it costs more than what has recently passed for quality.
To quote Suleman "I have had a tough time sleeping at night knowing the way the radio business has been plundered, with my help, by Wall Street. It's time to turn over a new leaf". Hogan added "In the long run, this will benefit not only the industry, but the listening public as well." Dickey concurred "We have a lot of making up to do."
