I just finished reading the sports while on the can and it says the Reds game will be on WQKC 93.9 tonight. Is this a misprint?
 
Not a misprint. When I was listening to John Renshaw today they were promoting it.
 
This is great news after having to depend on distant stations for Reds games. It will also be great to hear local announcer Jim Kelch cover the Reds game on a Louisville market station instead of making an attempt to pull in WLW from Cincinnati.
 
I listened to the Reds @ Padres last night on WQKC...it was SO good to have a reliable Reds Radio Network signal back in the market! And for a new affiliate with little time to learn, the board op did a very good job keeping in sync with the network. Didn't hear any dead air or step-overs.

That's because there was no board op. Reds radio network sends tones down for local breaks, ID and EOG. They also have contact closures for rain delays and rejoins.

There are no more board ops.
 
When I tune in for the games they're running some other programming. Bastards!!! What's up with that??? BASTARDS!!! Love, Craven ;D
