Today's Feder column - Hollander responses

Someone had blamed Rob Feder for his part in today's column.
I posted a response, and the entire thread disappeared.
I thought that it was important to show the mechanics of Rob's column, as I saw them:

Here's the deal, and it's pretty simple.

Feder interviewed Hollander, who, by his actions, forgot how to geal with the press.

Feder prints Hollander's responses.

Readers of Feder's column chime in with their perspective on Hollander's response.

Feder prints these reader responses, accurately depicting Hollander as someone who, at the very least, does not know what to say, to whom, when.

Hollander's initial responses stand for what they are, and his readers discredit Hollander's reaction, his modus operandi.

Feder lets his readers speak out on Hollander's ill thought out game plan.

Feder, as the piano player, plays the music that's in front of him. Don't shoot the piano player. He laid the story out pretty well here.

Rob's not to blame here. He did not bitch, his readers did it for him. If there is damage control to be done, it's Hollander's to do, and it's his move, as I see it... or to put someone in place that can effectively turn that tide for him in Chicago.

Does the logic of this sort it out for you?

I'm finally catching up on my reading & writing after the Holiday weekend: this is a great post - the first Feder column was great - the Feder feedback column was great - and Joel Hollander is a complete idiot - he's what's wrong with radio consolidation today.
