Spring book's due out today. Any prognosticators care to share their predictions?
I think KESS will knock KKDA out of first. That's probably the biggest surprise (although based on the trends it's not huge).
Here's what else I think I think:
Twister, ESPN, and KLIF will still suck.
The Bone will be unable (yet again) to take advantage of colossally bad programming at Spring Valley and the Tollway and will find they still can't beat a station that is 1/1,000,000th the station it used to be.
The Beat will barely hang onto the Top 10 - they've tanked rather rapidly in a year's time.
KXEB, despite my optimism, will not show up - 99% of the blame goes to the incompetent morons at BMP. You've had 4 months to fix the damn clocks and promote the station and ya dropped the ball. Cancel your contract with Air America and let someone who'll actually put some effort into the format run it. While you're at it, sell all your large and major market stations and concentrate on the RGV where you can be successful in spite of 8 million stupid mistakes.
