TODD FEINBERG STRIKES OUT !

C

Casablanca

Guest
Kurt Schilling just announced that he will sign a new contract with the Boston Red Sox through 2008.

This precludes Todd Feinberg's wish that Schilling run against Senator John Kerry.

Feinberg strikes out again ! Well, he belongs in the minor leagues anyway...very minor leagues.

Spell his name right, it's Curt.
I don't know if Feinburg struck out--he may have saved his job with this attention getting
campaign. It landed him in the papers, and he's not even being like DePetro in getting
BAD publicity (like the comment on Grace Ross). 'RKO is probably very happy with this
(they even set up a website to cajole Curt into running).

He still may run (could campaign on his off days!), but I'd guess not. At least it got buzz for 'RKO and the team (which,
of course, is moving most of their games to 'RKO--if you didn't happen to catch
the promos they're running every 10 minutes...)

Actually, he said he'd like to sign a one year extention with the Sox and if not them, some other team. I think most teams would want to see how he does this spring before opening up the check book, so who knows. When would he have to file his papers to run by?

' Vhat you still have relatives in Jhermany? Ve have vays of making you spell Curt correctly ...
