Savage Nation is not moving from 680. (My dial will be at 96.9 for Hannity;
which costs more, my monthly car payment or a dinner at Ruth's Chris?

They put a conservative yawner on like the nasal Todd Fienburg and they don't even consider someone like Jay Diamond. Of course, he doesn't tow the RNC party line so what could one suspect from the RNC's mouthpiece.
Wouldn't mind if Todd Fienburg weren't so annoyingly BORING. Where did he come from and how did he get the negatives to stay on RKO.
Boston radio is one big Titanic disaster. Of course, if Jay Severin goes head to head with Feinburg, Feinburg will end up like the other Todd, Gross, escorted out the door. Jay will kill RKO in the ratings. Now, that will be fun.

Howie's voice isn't too bad. By the way speaking of Rhode Islanders, I got a couple tapes of a classic country show on WEVL out of Memphis from a tape
trader, and that show's host, Ken Ward, has a voice you wouldn't expect
coming from that area of the country. That's because he hails from
N. Providence! The Providence accent, if there is one, is kind of like
the Boston accent with a touch of New York (corfee) thrown in. Just ask

Hey, SHUT UP dammit! Enough political whining. WRKO is a conservative talk station. Thats why there's a conservative there. There's plenty of liberal talk in Boston between AAR and NPR. In fact, how many commercial talk stations do we have here??? 3? Go take your complaints about hosts' political ideas elsewhere.
I'm through being nice about this. The rules are no political discussion. I bent them for the last election because John Kerry was in the news and it was relevant and I didn't un-bend them. It's time to go back to the old days. Frankly I'm sick of having to mediate political disputes. Talk about radio (only) or go somewhere else.
Just so you don't get any whacked ideas about my motives, I don't care if you're a republican or democrat, conservative or liberal. The next and succeeding threads on this board that go political are getting deleted and the offenders banned. I don't have the time for this.
