So much for A Taste Of Boston, Feinburg seems to be doing his talk show now at 7 PM. Tuned in last night for the first time in ages and the topic was - sex change. Is this RKO's new favorite topic? Is the TF show now a permanent fixture without the Pat Whitley food overtones?
 
:- wrko is your third favorite target, joe. after oedipus and nik 2.0, of course. you sound like a broken record. post after post.jordan rich was filling in for sully last night and had the same transgender doc topic on wbz last night booming out to 38 states and canada. how come you're not singling out wbz?
 
TOB was dumped at least a month or so ago, imo, TF does a much better job at political issues and or daily news than being a food/alcohol/movie/music critic. As for the sex change issue, I'm glad RKO and others are talking about this, I don't know about you but I certainly don't want my tax $$$ going to this murder's sex change, bad enough we're paying for hormone therapy, God only knows what else we're paying for that hasn't come to light yet.
 
actually, WRKO is my favorite target - the other two are irrelevant - keep in mind who posted a Challenge to The Count. There is the potential for a great talk station in Boston and 96.9, RKO both not it. WBUR has a huge audience and they get my attention. So if we stick to the positive - WBUR, AM 1430, WODS, WZLX,
and many college stations are where I spend most of my listening time. Amusing that I took a taxi into the
Hip Hop awards tonight and the cab driver had college radio on - WZBC. But he also knew the single I gave him because of extensive airplay on WERS - I was very impressed people are listening to college radio -

I haven't listened to WBZ on the overnights in awhile - just for a bit when driving around

Yet you've made more posts about the "irrelevant" WBCN and its former staff than you have about WRKO.

It never ceases to amaze how terrible on-air personalities like Jeff "ratings in the tank" Katz and Todd "whineberg" Feinburg think people are actually listening to them day after day because criticism is
leveled at them.

If a commercial break happens on Boston's Progressive Talk AM 1430 or if it is recipe time on WBUR, some of us scan the dial. Toucher and Rich were absolutely unlistenable yesterday - some nonsense about the wife not letting him out to play ZAP...no, they don't "win" because they got someone's attention for 3 minutes -
they lose because it wasn't entertaining and some people just move to another area of the "public airwaves"
to find something we like.

Some WRKO host or producer writes:

Yawwwn. You wish. Actually, thank God for Red Sox baseball. If Feinburg thinks we are listening to him over the Red Sox there's some swampland down in Marshfield he should broadcast from...hopefully there will be a story there as he sinks faster than his ratings...

Laveille does a great job. He's perfect for overnights... Mel Simons' appearances are always anticipated. I used to find Bob Raleigh annoying...of course, Norm was the king.
