Todd Feinburg show not so fine with fill-ins

Kevin Whalen and Tedd Jackson on The Todd Feinburg Show. Community auditions radio.

What is the point? Awful. Hey Raccoon, trust me, put Randi Rhoades on. Casablanca is so right about
Julie Khan. No ability to program decent talk radio in this major market.

Whalen & Jackson are giving out misinformation reading only from the Pew Research poll

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2006/story?id=2631982&page=1

They never mentioned this:

These differ from a CNN poll completed Sunday that has a 20-point Democratic lead. Similarly, Time and Newsweek polls completed Friday showed 15- to 16-point Dem. leads. In addition, a CBS News/New York Times poll completed last Tuesday showed an 18-point Democratic lead.

Whalen & Jackson - just terrible.
Web pundits plug views on airwaves

http://www.wrko.com/article.asp?id=44218

Hosts Kevin Whalen and Gregg Jackson handpick pundits from the blogosphere, giving cyber scholars a chance to sound off via the radio dial.

These two are fairly informative on their own show, when I've heard them. I don't think their act translates so well to open-ended current events talk.

Ummm, Julie Kahn doesn't program...

they ALL program in the higher-ups position. Jason Khan, Julie Wolfe, these days it is a rarity that one person makes the decisions...committee committee committee...

Now that Varulven and I have had a civil word to say to each other, I feel it's my duty to inform him that one tends to tune him out when he diverts comments about radio hosts into the political realm. Say the hosts suck, not that they're using a Pew Poll. Both sides play that game, stick to the presentation.

this is "C" --List talent, not helping 'RKO get the ratings up..

Note to Django - talk to Bostonrose about switching topics. Don't blame the messenger who is responding.

By the way, Feinburg was just DePetro with a different sounding voice today. Absolutely nasty to the
callers they let get through supporting Deval Patrick - sound effects, badgering, interrogation. This is
WRKO's problem - as Panago stated correctly about the "C"--list talent - mix it in with Republican propaganda = niche radio another poster talked about in regards to music on AM.

Boston's Progressive Talk certainly is all about Democratic candidates from the hosts perspectives, BUT, they do allow for the opposing side to give a point of view without catcalls, badgering and buffoonery. If RKO did that it would be a refreshing change. They just don't want to put their point of view out plainly because it is so skewed
