Todd Schnitt has left the building

Sometimes the transition from a Top 40 DJ to N/T host doesn't work well. I enjoyed his show, but he tried to incorporate to many Top 40 elements, and he talked too much about inside radio stuff (engineering, other stations) that I enjoyed, but the public didn't care about.

Also there is only so much real estate available for syndication. I don't think he has many large markets. That really doesn't matter I guess because most major advertisers are staying away from N/T. I guess there is money in niche advertisers, such as those that know Rush or Hannity works for them.

Glen Beck did a better job with the format transition.

From what I can see, based on the comments in social media, the conservative fans of Schnitt didn't like Berman. And the fans of Berman didn't like Schnitt.
