Todd Schnitt said it on the Radio ...

Is it true that he said on the radio today that he would love to just prepare for one show? Being that one show the afternoon on 970WFLA? If certain, then the rumors might be true. Anyone listened? Why is he saying that? Maybe tired of the Bubba attacks and he knows he won't be attacked with 970?

Maybe the court told him he had to stop sueing for nonsense?

We all know his great passion for morning show on FLZ. Maybe Bubba really got to him and the constant pressure with Bubba just made him surrender?

Maybe he's tired of doing two shows. Maybe he's considering Bubba's/Cox's offer to settle. Maybe he's ready to rev it up and go go.

'Listen, just don't show up after Christmas or we're really just going to stop paying you to be here... Besides, through some crack researching, we found fewer people despise Ryan Seacrest than despise the MJ character overall, and we really think that he's a cheap--er.. make that better fit for the station. Marketing wants to reposition you around the word that so accurately describes you, .... you know, that word that rhymes with your last name... Oh don't worry, you'll have a new car before you even know it...'

I don't like Schnitt, but I hope that he continues to do two shows because something tells me that that is the reason why Bubba continues to do his two shows. I like both of Bubba's shows and I hopes he stays with Sirius or at least have his morning show syndicated to more cities.

I TOLD YOU IT WAS TRUE!!! BUT A FEW OF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO LISTEN!!!!

True or not, he's gonna "quit" because A: he wants to do one show or B: the company wants him to do one show. He's not gonna quit because of Bubba. Give me a break.

The only way MJ can "win" this battle is to keep the show. Otherwise:

1 - MJ drops the AM show - Bubba declares victory
2 - CC drops MJ from mornings, or moves his to another station - Bubba declares victory

As for Bubba, once he drives MJ away, who's next?

He needs an enemy - and the syndicated hosts (Lex and Terry, Steve Harvey, Kane) aren't going to fight back locally.

Most likey he will go after Lex and terry or Steve Harvey.....but not Kane
besides why would he go after Kane or Harvey other than to stay # 1 mornings.
If Bubba has a to do list, Kane ain't on it. MJ is at the top of the list followed by Lex and Ferry....im sorry Terry!
Most likey he will still target CC on some level May be Target MJ's afternoon show on 970 or pick on fester, joey b and the rest, including the one part timer there that claims to do it all, the one (YOU ALL KNOW WHO I MEAN) that worships the ground that MJ graces with if troll feet! But who knows at this point who cares the troll with pubic hair is giving Tampa Bay listeners a big gift this christmas.......HE IS LEAVING THE FM AIRWAVES!!!!
My money is on Lex and Terry to be next one on the BTLS Chopping block!

Bubba has absolutely nothing to do with this.

CC is dramatically cutting payroll. Many of their high-profile personalities will be "asked" to add more stations next year. Kane will take the couple of stations that had the MJ show. Schnitt will be on in more markets. Neither will get a whole lot of money for it.

That's it. Really.

^^^Makes sense. Although, I have to admit I am amazed that Todd has been able to burn the candle at both ends for this long. Preparing for two shows has got to be backbreaking. I suspect that his afternoon show is in growth mode and putting more resources into it, while not spreading himself so thin might be a win/win.

I read that he gets only 4 hours of sleep. Damn. I wonder how much Bubba gets with his two shows, also rumored to be reduced to one soon. With one show, Todd (Schnitt) would still make a good living and be able to spend more time with his family.
