Todd Wright off Yahoo Sports Radio

They're going down!!!
They better do something and think on this.
That's why not many people listen to radio anymore because it change so fast. One minute you're used to a radio host, and next day She/He is gone.
Not good.

and now, most weeknights is not live, according to their schedule, if you put your mouse on the name of the show, it states "Todd Wright Podcast"
In other words
"Repeat Show"
Not LIVE
So bad
For a Talk Format, most times, their programming should be LIVE almost 24/7

I think that's just a website issue. Todd was with them 6 or 7 years. At least he was given a goodbye show that would not have happened on FSR or ESPN.

I don't mean this in the wrong way, but I think Todd's style was more suited to overnights. Do you know what I mean?

Peter Brown filling in this week, enjoy
Thank you @Lee65. As I just said, before and I will say it again. For Talk Format (like this one) they should be on LIVE (almost 24/7) maybe have the (Best Of Shows on ??? on early Saturday/Sundays 4am-6am Eastern Time)
Other than that, they should be LIVE (almost 24/7)

Sporting News..Now Yahoo has never been the same since they let go their core of talented hosts. Face it...if they want to try to compete, they really should bring back Spanier. Hands down the best show...entertaining and knowledgeable. Until they upgrade their hosts, it will be the same old same old....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I'm happy this guy is off the air. Wright does have talent and knows spots, but he refuses to take calls from the listeners. I worked with Wright, at WFNS, in Tampa, Florida. He is a jerk.

He was just rude. I was new at WFNS, and tried to have a conversation with him, twice. He acted like he didn't hear me. Jim Lighthall was a nice guy, and Whitney Johnson was also a nice guy and was into classic rock.

Bob Kemp was a great overnight hosts when Yahoo sports was known as 1 on 1 Sports. That goes back to their Chicago days. Yahoo should bring back Kemp.

Kemp sucked ass. He was old and tirred and brought nothing to the conversation. He was always pissed off and told his listeners often that he didn't want to be on the air. I wish some of you would start your own Network with guys who implode and can't find jobs. Maybe Todd, Bruno, Ben and Kemp can all come back from the dead and launch a podcast together.

Talking about "bring backs" How about Mr. 1-800-777-2..........907. Hopefully, Yahoo already has him under contract!

I liked Kemp. He was one of the few national guys that would talk baseball. Kemp would not talk about hockey, and he always called the NFL, " The National Fraud League". Kemp believed the quality of play in the NFL suffered by week 4, due to many of the injuries for most of the teams.

No doubt Kemp knew his stuff, but his show was anything but entertaining. Personally, you can get the X &Os from the paper or on line. I like to be informed, challenged,
and most importantly, entertained.

Always amused at the "lifeguardofradio" taking shots at others. Kemp, Wright and most of the Yahoo/Sporting News, Fox Sports Radio hacks are a dime a dozen who make very little money and drive zero ratings or revenues on their insignificant late night or weekend shows heard by dozens.
JT the Brick is pretty much a self-absorbed hack too, but since he's been wallowing in a dead end street on a network which is 2nd to ESPN simply because of CC stations owned, he considers himself some sort of legend for taking pay checks to keep his lowly job?
Anyone who knows anything about sports radio knows talk hosts are the most unitelligent, unprofessional, illiterate, boring and worthless part of the world of broadcasting. Shameful business, but still necessary with the total void of new or original programming. All music stations sound the same and thankfully, there is Pandora where I stay away from the "noise" that is dismal sports talk radio!
