Toledo Ohio ... #1 Sirius/XM market..

But is it true? The Media Audit (the source of the Sirius/XM story) also reports that Toledo is the #6 market for listening (or watching) to college sports. With no disrespect intended to the University of Toledo, I see a lot of out of town college fans in the area, over and above UM and OSU (lots of Purdue fans, for example). The Sirius/XM study simply says 7.9% listened to sat radio for at least a few minutes during the week. Maybe they are just listening to out of the area games?
My point - Without further details, I think the stat that Toledo is #1 is meaningless.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the "cume figure" listed (36-thousand plus for adults 18 and older) is pretty low. It might but good for Sirius/XM. But, the "radio market" of Toledo is over a half million people, so you gotta think at least one or more radio stations have a cume in the 85-100,000 range.
Or, about 2 to 3 times what the sat is cuming...It's possible the sat is outcuming some stations in Toledo, but I think they'd be mid-pack or lower...

All that, of course, if the methodology of their survey could be equal to the methodology Arbitron uses to come up with a cume figure.

Doe's not surprise one bit. All these dam station's sound the same. 3 country station's Seriously (99.9,107.7,103.7, Plus 102.9 and 95.3 out of Ann arbor & adrian). Way two much Ghetto music (95.7, 97.3 and 107.3). 4 Adult Contemporary Station's (98.3,99.1,101.5 and 105.5). K love and there 7 signal's (92.9,94.9,96.9,103.3,104.1,105.9 and am 1520). 104.7 and 94.5 Play the some old rock song's over and over and over and over and over and over again. The record is now broken! Its nice to hear Andrew Z in the morning again but really cumulesssssssssssssssss media 86 watts your never going to beat KISS FM NOW. You can't barley get 100.7 out side of Toledo. I thought Tower 98.3's signal was garbage. Hey Cumulus Toledo get smart put Andrew z and The vibe on 105.5 and get rid of crappy *** star 105. OMG Toledo radio look's real BAD NOW!

WTH is the point of K-love having all those signals? really?

Sell 1520am already.

103.7fm needs to be flipped, Jack-fm or WSPD simulcast.

Cumulus: Get The Vibe on 94.5! Move The Ticket to 105.5. Move Crusty butt rock to 106.5 and pair it up with 100.7. Flip 1470am to news/talk.

trust me, EMF does not want 1520 am... No one is likely willing to pay for it at this point...
40's,50's and 60's soild gold oldies would work on AM 1520. Great choice for 1520 since 93.5 shifted to the 70's and 80's now.

Suprises me that Columbus, Ohio didn't get that #1 siruis/XM market. Check out this list: Classic hits 93.3, 101.7, 103.9. Classic Rock 96.3,98.9 and 105.7, 7 religious stations 88.1,88.3, 88.7, 89.1,91.5,104.9, and 880AM, 5 country stations 92.3, 94.3, 95.5, 100.3, and 107.1. Lets say our city is consider quite old folgey if you think about it. Oh and I forgot to mention we do have an 80's simulcast 103.5/104.3 too.
