Actually, not a bad program for a couple of right wingers, but one which suffers both creatively and in the ratings from WRKO's lack of a news presence. The morning newsreaders recite the same stories over and over and over without updating and without rewriting. The same laziness and lack of attention from management are evident in the two sports stations' updates.
It is also a problem with the other talker in town, which makes the silly assumption that TV audio can take the place of properly presented radio news. It doesn't. Radio needs to advance news stories and a talk station with even a nominal news operation that understands that would do better in morning drive than the two commercial talkers.
When RKO or HDH were doing well in morning drive (not #1, but "well") they were backed by top-notch news teams at WHDH and WRKO.
