TOM AND TODD IN THE MORNING

HI - Could someone tell me what the vibe of the Tom and Todd show is on WRKO - What kind of numbers they get? How long have they been in bean town? Just curious. Thanks

Finneran began at WRKO in Feb of 2007 originally solo then he was paired with Feinburg

Finneran starts his new career....

via Boston Herald:
>>December 31, 2008 (Boston) – Entercom New England announced today that veteran talk show host Todd Feinburg will officially join Tom Finneran on WRKO each weekday morning. Feinburg, who has been guest hosting with Finneran for the last several months, will take his permanent seat behind the microphone on January 5, 2009.

Don't know what kind of numbers they get now. Some old numbers can be seen at

Their numbers have been up-and-down but it is abysmal, terrible, disgraceful, race-baiting radio (the wrko apologist nothwithstanding). (Too bad because Finneran's a decent guy off the air)

Actually, not a bad program for a couple of right wingers, but one which suffers both creatively and in the ratings from WRKO's lack of a news presence. The morning newsreaders recite the same stories over and over and over without updating and without rewriting. The same laziness and lack of attention from management are evident in the two sports stations' updates.

It is also a problem with the other talker in town, which makes the silly assumption that TV audio can take the place of properly presented radio news. It doesn't. Radio needs to advance news stories and a talk station with even a nominal news operation that understands that would do better in morning drive than the two commercial talkers.

When RKO or HDH were doing well in morning drive (not #1, but "well") they were backed by top-notch news teams at WHDH and WRKO.

More race vomit.....most Americans are getting fed up up to the max on this race crap every two seconds and ignore it with a smirk
