Tom Barnard to retire from KQRS

With KQ's numbers leaving them around 10th in the rankings, it would seem Tom would be the next to go.
They already pulled Scott Jameson a few years back, when they were in 4-6th place.

I wonder if they will keep what's left of the current show, or bring in the "Bob and Tom" show, to cut costs.

Tom Barnard is NOT retiring. I would expect him back on the air on a different frequency after his deal at KQ is done.

Tom Barnard isn't retiring. I'm kind of disappointed about how little detail that article goes into. During his announcement on KQRS, he said that he was shifting to producing his Tom Barnard Podcast full time. He also mentioned that his podcast would begin to be syndicated to other radio stations across the nation, NOT including KQRS. He mentioned that Tony, Zepp, and Candice would also continue doing the KQ Morning Show after he leaves.

Here is the full recording of his announcement that I recorded off-air 6/30/2022.
