Tom C & Jackie Martling Do Lunch

I haven't read the article yet, but I heard Howard talk about it yesterday. I think it's a plan to hire Jackie to work on David Lee Roth's Show. Roth can use all the help that he can get. Especially if it's going to bring a piece of Stern back to the station.

Jackie and Dave seem like oil and water personalities and approaches. While it makkes sense on the surface, in practice Im not sure it would gel.

Man is it me or could CBS have handled this transition from Stern a little better. My god they knew for a year he was leaving and yet it seems that at the last minute they hatched this FREE-FM scheme and decided we would just toss a bunch of crap against the wall and hope something sticks.

For the record, most of the freefm URL's that are now used for most stations have been registered in July of last year. So clearl, err, obviously they had the plan in place for awhile, they just had to cement the personalities.<P ID="signature">______________
