Tom Clendening New PD at KKOL

So I read on this other board, not even Seattle-based, that Tom Clendening, who recently left his position as program director at KIRO, has been named program director at KKOL, replacing Rick Richardson.

Did I miss that here .. or don't we care?
 
Good luck to a very nice guy. Hope he can get the station to at least show!

It would be exciting to see the 1300 frequency regain prominence, especially with the "sort of" old KOL calls. Tom, good luck...why not bring back some of the old KOL jingles? A lot of news/talks use 'em!!! (WBBM, WLS, KNX)

you mean like "Ahead of it's Time...Seattle's K-O-L".
Hmmm.....in this case, I think someone may get sued for "false advertising"
 
True. I'm sure he would be welcomed back at KVI, as he is the type who always leaves on good terms. Best of luck to him as well.
