Seems like good ole` Tom Collins is stirring up trouble again. This time, he has suspended Overnight man Bruce Hodge "Nightrider" over his refusal to give up control of the playlist and requests! Some young girl is now doing the shift. looks more and more like Oldies are headed for WBRF!!!!!!!!!

I am starting to think that Good Times and Great Oldies is Tom Collins....Why else would you care this much about what the guy is doing at WBRF...Sounds like another has been they have hired and the only way he can get news out is to post it himself.

i know we talk about the "old days" and how things were back then...

but when i was in radio if the overnight guy failed to give up control of the playlist to the program director there wouldn't be a suspension.

there would be an openng for a new overnight dj.


oh and yeah, that's pretty cool that nightrider's website has stuff posted before personal computers were invented.

Understand the over night guy had refused to follow format guidelines and wanted to play only the music he wanted during his show. He was suspended for a week then there was a meeting to determine what he intended to do and the termination came at that meeting.
