Tom Coyne at WKTV

I have been asked to pass this information on to the readers of this board.

Tom Coyne, the program director at WKTV and former sports director at WUTR is seriously ill. He has been in St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica since July 4. At the moment he is in intensive care. I am sure that his many friends would like to send their best wishes to him for his recovery.

Could someone give me an update on this. I'm in another part of the country. I worked with Tom at WUTR.
I was also shocked to learn today Gary Kennerkenercht passed away several years ago. Also does anyone know what happened to Fred Horton I worked with him in my WRUN days.

I heard Tom was released from St. E's a couple weeks ago. No other updates on that.
Yes, sadly Gary passed away last year of cancer. He was working at CBS-TV,New York, in affliate relations. He is missed.

Fred Horton is working for Citidel as the O. M. of their cluster in Erie PA. He is doing well, both personally and professionally.
