Tom Donahue on KB Radio 1520

Summer time means later sunsets and less opportunity to listen to KB Radop 1520 on Long Island. However, last night as we were travelling along the Southern State Parkway from Massapequa to Eastern Suffolk. . .there it was. . .coming in like a ton of bricks. . .Buffalo's 50,000 watt KB Radio !

As a radio person, I enjoy KB Radio because it is a gentle reminder of what radio was: personality driven and exciting. As a listener, I enjoyed it because the music was good and Tom Donahue ties it all together really well ! He's very entertaining and keeps it moving along. And who among us wouldn't relate to our parents hating the Beatles. (Yes, I did grow up listening to Sinatra on WNEW).

Tom, thanks for doing still another outstanding Saturday Night All Request Party !
