Tom Doyle & Julie Deveroux!

The announcement has been made. Tom Doyle will team up with Julie Deveroux on the 3-7 shift starting today. Tom will continue with Loren & Wally in the morning and do the pm drive with Julie in the afternoon. I for one am happy to have Julie back where she belongs.

Well, I was pretty close when I guessed that Tom would be doing afternoon via voice tracking. Maybe he still is, although that would be pretty hard to do if Julie is live 3-7.

I'm not a big fan of Tom, or L&W, but I am a huge fan of Julie, from her days at WCGY, WBOS and then GM moved her up to 105.7 where she held done every shift but mornings.

Julie is a class act, and a real radio professional, she deserved better than getting blown out the door last time around.

I'm thrilled she is back

They may be voicetracking the entire show; either way, kudos to Greater Media for keeping these two talented folks on the air.

Meet the new guy, same as the old guy.
Sounds like a case of overexposure and a lack of imagination at WROR.
Does Julie really need a "wacky' co-host ?

Sounds more like an effort to recycle listeners from a successful morning show; it may work out for them.

It's called utilitizing your talent. They have a guy in-house who can come up with stagers like Mike's so why not use him?! The difference is that Mike's stagers are actually funny.

Happy to hear Julie is coming back. I missed the morning announcement and was only able to listen for about 5 minutes this afternoon going from Point A to Point B in the car. Heard Doyle's "Big Papi" song but that was a recording from the morning show. Maybe Julie will be live and they'll be throwing in alot of Doyle "stuff".

Nothing has changed on WROR's website. JC Haze is still listed 4-7. Where does he go now? Back to weekends? Maybe they'll dump the listener-hosted 10-4 shift and throw him in there from 10-3? Gone completely? JC has been around WROR for awhile now. He kind of became their jack of all trades after Victor K died a couple of years ago.

So who listened to the entire first show? Did it SOUND live? Did Julie say anything about being back? Did Doyle welcome her back? Or did they not mention anything and act as if nothing has happened for the past 5 months?

And does anyone think this was all planned in the beginning and that, when Julie was beached a few months ago, that she knew she'd be back by June?

Julie is back (which is great), Paul Perry is back on weekends. Coming back soon: Albert O and Kim Collins. :D

Or maybe they'll bring in Ralphie Marino since WERZ beached him. Or any one of a ton of other personalities.

WROR.com's on-air schedule has been updated to include Doyle and Devereaux but they list it as 4-7 while the front page of the site lists it as 3-7:

JC is listed only on Saturdays. They've also reinstated Julie's blog but it hasn't been updated since November.

Hello this is my first time commenting here.

I am also verry happy that Julie is back on Wror. I have listened in a bunch of times over the last to weeks and I think that Julie and Tom have a shot at producing a decent afternoon program. I hope that management will give these two the space they need to make things gell. If ratings dont jump up right away maybe add a few songs to the play list as oppose to dumping two talented people. It would be great to hear her do a segment or two each day about music, musical events or about the artists. But maybe thats just me I really like classic rock (I know technicly they are "Classic Hits") and Julie seems to know a lot about the music.

Thats all

JC is a good guy too. Worked in New Hampshire for Saga for a bit as PD of their Manchester oldies station.
