I've seen several listings from the 70's and 80's in areas where there was one independent station or less that aired cartoon programming, and couldn't help but notice that a great deal of the major network-affiliated stations chose "Tom & Jerry" for their children fare. For example, three stations alone - all VHF's, mind you - aired "T&J" at the same time at 4 PM on this day.
So was "T&J" the "toon du jour" amongst network affiliates back in the day, or could it just be a regional thing?
