Tom Joyner Announces Retirement

That's a pretty popular morning show on lots of stations. His syndicator is going to really have to do some major talent searching to replace him.

at least he took a page out of Howard Stern's playbook as like Howard, Tom is giving Radio stations time to find his replacement like Stern did when in October 2004, he signed with Sirius (pre-SiriusXM merger) and he announced that his last show was in December 2005, right around the time his Infinity Broadcasting/CBS Radio was set to expire.

but unlike Stern, who left terrestral radio for a more uncensored satellite radio platform, Tom is retiring from all radio all together.
