Tom Joyner back on in NYC

Tom Joyner is coming back to NYC beginning Feb 7th on 98.7 KISS FM. Thoughts?

I really don't any. Considering 98.7 Kiss FM has been arranging of chairs since the Emmis acquired it back in the mid 90s. It was better off as an urban contemporary that played hip-hop, R&B, and soul music. Tom Joyner might help it finally have an "anchor", but the station is Emmis' red-headed stepchild and the only "true" urban on its roster.

WRKS's music mix is not all that special but still has some good DJs - Bob Slade, Lenny Green and DJ Red Alert.
