Tom Kelley of K-Earth 101 gets a 3 year extention

When posting a link from this site's newsletter page, click on the "date" at the top of that day's news that you wish to post; that will open a "permalink" for that day's newsletter/stories. Otherwise, the link for "http://www.radio-info.com" will just open to the current day's stories while the one day you meant to link to moves down the page until it's eliminated after about a week.

Thus, for the Shotgun Tom Kelly story dated 10/18/12, the permalink is:

Congrats to Shotgun Tom Kelley.......He is a throw back of the old shock jock back in the late 60's and 70's......My father in law knows him and worked with him back in 1970 at the old KACY 1520 am in Oxnard.....His trademark slogan worked well for a spot he did for a gentlemen club that was a sponsor: "At the Flapper baby......". Shotgun did a live remote the Friday before Father's Day at BBQ Galore in Rancho Cuacomnga and my father in law showed up....He gave a shot out to him on the air....My father in law had to leave after a hour because him and Shotgun were having such a good time talking about the old times that Shotgun was messing up on the air......
