Lately, he seems to be popping up more and more. Does anybody know his radio background? Was he a WIXY Superman. He is on 2 stations in the Tampa market at the same time. Who is this cat?

That says he was a high profile personality on WLS. I simply don't remember that at all. When was he on? During the Art Roberts years? When was he on WIXY? on WBZZ? I missed this guy completely?

I do remember him as Trucking Tom Kent at WIXY back in the 70's. Am I thinking of the same guy? His show is on our local oldies radio station here in Ft Myers Fl every night.

He wasn't with WLS very long around 80-81 and he did the all night shift I believe.

Other than his current gig as a syndicated radio host , what exactly did he used to REALLY be known for. He is like everywhere like he used to be Dick Biondi or sumptin, you know?

All I know is he worked at alot of stations.

You can catch his complete bio at http://www.440.com/440sat.html.... definitely (as the song says) "Town to town, up and down the dial. He did three gigs in Cleveland, WIXY (1975-77), WGCL (78-80), and WRQC (88-90). Probably his most visible gig of the three was at G-98. I once turned Tom down for a sales job. He had just been blown out somewhere. He might have made it in sales... he was a nice enough guy and very persistent.... but I could tell that his heart was really behind the mic and encouraged him to keep pitching for a jock gig. Well, he took a job in the record biz instead but is back on the air in a big way.... and I'm happy for him.

TK's last Cleveland gig was WQAL, part-time, in the early 90s.
