He's on all over the place; and don't be fooled by live and local hype, because I heard a station claiming to be live and local, and the show was a rerun of the air personality from a few years ago.  I especially love the teasers for the weekend specials that turn out to be something entirely different when the weekend actually rolls around, because the tease was from last year or three or four or five years ago.  Gotta love those little jocks who call all the shots for love weekends a la Delilah (ain't happenin'), breakup weekends, food weekends, etc. etc. - and then it is a dance weekend or something.  And of course, "I worked hard on the programming, advertising, management, consulting, and just running this whole place <so will somebody who is ready for prime time hire me now?">.

Dick Bartley, but as a scholar of music and a music historian he is more seasoned than Kent.

Agreed. Jack was always 1st or 2nd in the ratings and Kent's best has been 10th.

I like Tom but I like Jack Miller more. Plus he's there, he knows Tampa Bay, he's live and local.... and I believe he can make the station #1 in the evening again.

I was quoting someone from the Q staff who said Miller used to be #1. Radio people never get it wrong or exaggerate, do they? Regardless, he's still #1 in my book.
