Im so sorry Charles i was under the understanding that this was a radio Board and while leykis was not from the area, he did have a show in this market for years. It would be nice if we could talk about Dallas/Ft worth radio, Not TV Morning hosts or LA Talk radio....
Radio in Dallas is so milk toast now who cares (thanks CBS and CC). We need Russ back to give this board a real daily topic to discuss. Everyone else pales in comparison. Proof of point...this board discussing Megan Henderson's departure is more stimulating than discussing the Ticket or the FAN. IMHO!!!

I'm already so tired of the bland & borring sports radio idiots cheering/crying about the cowboys (or insert any other sports team, or sport, or "so called" generic sport out there). It sure didn't take long for this type of radio to get so tired to the point you can't listen any more. If I want sports I will "watch & listen" to it on TV, not just "listen" to it on the radio.
I want to laugh at stupid/bathroom humor on the drive home again, don't care if it's fart jokes, or a potato gun to the nadds of a station intern, or fireworks. We need Russ or Leykis, or O&A back soon (or similar) because my only "back-up" for stupid/bathroom radio humor on the drive home is an ancient copy of the "Best of Bo & Jim" cassette from the old Q102 days......and it's been played so much lately that it can't be long before the tape is completely worn out.

I hear ya, Dill. Although as a person whose life isn't revolved around sports, I do enjoy Greg Hill's show. I also get my fix from Lex and Terry on 97.1 whenever they aren't doing any stupid intern stunts.
Lex and Terry are horrible. So are their sidekicks.

I really wish KEGL would get rid of L&T and pick a news and traffic chick and play music in the morning. The constant chatter of idiots is annoying.

I guess someone bitching about a post on a guy who was in the DFW market for 5+ years and just taken off a DFW station a few weeks back is better than a post bitching about Russ Martin.
