Tom Maciaszek tribute

This Saturday night, there will be over 30 years of WOBM history gathering at the Toms River Holiday Inn on Route 37, as we remember the life and times of Tom "Mr. Maze" Maciaszek. He touched the lives of many of us, and although some have moved on to other things, we share the common bond of knowing Tom as we passed through WOBM.
It will definitely be an event for the ages, and an opportunity for all of us to share our memories and raise one (or more) high in honor of our beloved Mr. Maze.
In addition to dinner, we are starting a scholarship fund in his name for broadcast students attending Ocean County College. More details to follow as we work it out.
Look forward to seeing you all there.

To all who attended Saturday night, thanks for making the trip in questionable weather and for contributing to a great night of warm memories of Mr. Maze. It was an experience to see what a family WOBM has and how after all these years, we still have those moments we hold dear from working there.
I spoke with Allison Kobus the other night and she suggested we should all try to get together again in the spring or summer for a picnic, just for the fun of it.
As to the scholarship fund, contact Allison for more information at [email protected] and she will provide the details.
Take care, all and hopefully we'll see you all again soon.
Glenn Summers
