The founder and creative force behind TM Productions, Tom Merriman, passed away this morning at the age of 85.

He had suffered a fall several months ago and was in nursing care at the time of his passing.

Tom was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame this past weekend.

Tom was a treasure to all of us who knew him and worked for TM back in the day.
 
Yep, Mr. Merriman wasn't able to make it to the Hall of Fame ceremony; all we were told was that he's 85 and has trouble getting around these days. No idea he was that ill. Thoughts and prayers go out to a legend and his family.
