Tom Mustin has been removed from KCNC CBS4 Denver after 16 years

He was with the station but is now out.

Mustin confirmed his leaving on social media saying the decision to go was not his.

“Thank you all for your kind words and posts. To set the record straight, leaving CBS4 was NOT my decision. I was simply told that due to budget cuts, my position was being eliminated,” he said in a Facebook post.

Mustin had been with channel 4 for 16 years as an anchor-reporter. He was moved off the morning show in 2014.

Mustin was also a professor at a local college. He says his family does not plan to stay in the Denver area.
