My God, KRON is getting to be like a small market station. Soon you'll see anchors in overalls after mopping floors.....

OK - I guess I'll comment. The lack of interest in this thread is probably indicative of how little people care about KRON anymore. Most of their good field reporters jumped ship long ago - the few that remained quit when the VJ thing started. To me, the only interesting question is why Pam Moore, Liviakis, and Radnich haven't jumped ship. My guess is that - though they're talented - they just haven't received other offers in the Bay Area, and don't want to leave town. A regular paycheck is a strong incentive. I was thinking Radnich stayed because KRON is probably the only station that would allow his unscripted stream of consciousness rants. But I think he only did that on the 9:00 PM broadast, and that's gone.
 
KRON is Like Chrysler, they finish last!! Low budget talent , with the Exception of Vicki Liviakis, great voice on the radio, KFRC was Vicki in the 70 s!!

I agree XM, Vicki was great on the radio. But at the risk of sounding sexist - I think she's better on TV because you get to SEE her. Aside from being very attractive, she's also a very professional reporter. A few weeks before the election, I stumbled into the KRON pre-election special she anchored about the various propositions on the ballot. Though I'm sure she had little (if any) preparation or rehearsal time, her reporting and anchoring were spot-on perfect. I'm puzzled that some smart News Director at Channels 2,5,7, or 11 hasn't given her a better offer.
 
Vicki should be at channel 2 replacing Leslie with Vicki would be fine with me !! Vicki Liviakis is the only reason i watch KRON , shes been around a while and you just trust someone like her to give you the news!!! KTVU if you read these posts pay attention, Rescue Vicki from the sinking ship A.K.A. KRON !!! Put her on the 6 o"clock news, I will be waiting!! Kenny in Concord
 
Maybe Tom Sinkovitz, Pam Moore, and Gary Radnich should all go to KNTV 11!
They'll be more happy there!!!!! KNTV's news ratings could skyrocket if they had
a GREAT sportscaster like Radnich!!!!!
