Tom Sullivan

So, what's the deal with Tom? I'm no longer in the market and I don't know anything about his alleged departure from KFBK than what I've seen in the trades. Personally, I never been a fan and found his program a bit dull.

Few people have ridden the coattails of Rush Limbaugh like TOm Sullivan. His show was an absolute borefest.

I'm not sure if this is true but someone told me that he is going to be syndicated out of New York.

THAT would not surprise me. This is, now more than ever before, a business where mediocrity rises to the top.

Maybe he's implicated in the John Doolittle scandal...do ya think??? The feds have subpoenaed all kinds of records.lincluding financial records for the last eleven years.

They used to have a guy on KGO in SF -Gary Conway ? who did businees reports from a studio at his investment business...some people thought there were ethics problems with that arrangement. I wonder if Sullivan good have the same problem.

Is Sullivan off KFBK? I don't listen to that station, except for Niners and I heard yesterday (9/30) a promo from Tom for his show. Should I just chalk this up to their poor Traffic and Board Op people not paying attention?

He's off to bigger and better things I guess. Poor KGOP err...I mean KFBK... What are they going to do?

Sacramento is lucky to have both KXJZ and KQEI.

I was told that Sullivan is going to pull "double-duty"; He will be featured on a Fox Cable Network TV show, and do a nationally-syndicated radio program as well. His radio show, of course, will be carried by KFBK. However, they are losing another "local" show with his departure from the market.

An old promo could be the fault of the person responsible for merging the logs(PD maybe) anyway the board op should check I guess, but are they to anticipate that someone didnt do their job? Where I work, I check all the promos after the first wrong one goes out and then remove or replace the rest.

From what I've read on All Access, the only radio station in the country to jump on the Tom Sullivan syndicated band wagon is KFBK. The Sac Bee said that Fox-TV "denied having a deal with Sullivan", and he'll return to KFBK after a two week vacation. So...what's really going on?

That's one way to do it. Where I work, we don't schedule or play out of date or wrong copy promos. It eliminates the need to have anything wrong play ONCE or ever. But keep up the good work! ;D

Is the new FOX business channel available in Sacramento? I saw a piece of the premiere and it looks as though Tom Sullivan is seeing a new hair tinting specialist.
