Tommy G returns

Seems everyone is making their way over to Internet radio. Hopefully his show could land on some other Internet talk radio channels and can get a boost to his programming. Best of luck to Tommy G.

That is awesome! The website looks great! Sounds like he is going to kick some butt.

I wonder if he is going to discuss why his good friend Ray and Casey and Michele were blown out and other behind the scenes stuff NJ 101.5.

I know who I'll be listening to next week... Tommy G!

Internet radio is a way to get out there but you can;t make any money with a stand alone internet station. I guess it is a good way to stay in (radio) shape.

Hey, for Tommy G I'll cancel my Sirius and send him the 15 bucks a month to keep him on the air. I'll get some of my friends to do the same.

What a great way to break in my new Iphone 4S I got for Christmas by listening to Tommy G on my way home from work.

Jeez....I hope this isn't the end to casino Karaoke.... :p Hey maybe he can incorporate karaoke into his talk show. Don't laugh...anything goes on "local" shows. The Cape/Atlantic market prides itself on blowing the dust off the old and presenting it as new again. Don't get me wrong, I wish Tommy the best of luck with his new venture. I thought after reading the headline, there might be market head-turning idea. eg. an actual rock station with a playlist larger than the Dino's diner jukebox.
Best of luck Tommy..... :)

I think many markets do that. Think of the retreads in Philly like DeBella and Kalina, et al. NYC has been the same, too.

It is about time somebody is providing quality local content geared towards the iPhone generation like me, I am 27 years old. The last week listening to Tommy G proved someone can do it right. Keep up the good work Tommy G. I will be listening everyday on my iPhone during my commute down the Turnpike.

Tommy G is doing it right! Besides me, I know at least five of my friends who listen to him on their commutes from work on their iPhones. It's Stern in the morning and Tommy G on they way home!

I used my iphone to hear his show the other day instead of listening to Deminski and Doyle on 101.5. Wow! Sound quality was great, and the show was much more entertaining. And it even had traffic! I wish he was on regular radio, but now I can listen all the time because 101.5 doesn't come in at all well in Atlantic County. I read here he even has the 3rd Jersey Guy Bob Engle in with him. 101.5 must be fuming over this.

"WOW How may user Names does Tommy G post under on this site?"

Apparently you don't realize that unlike other radio board sites, this one is very well moderated. I used to listen to his show a lot when he was on NJ 101.5. You sound like one of those disgruntled sweeper truck drivers he used to poke fun at. Regardless, you have to give Tommy G credit for going it on his own against a huge radio station like 101.5. I for one wish him well, and considering I can't hear the station anymore in Atlantic County, hearing Tommy G on my I-Phone is a blessing. Maybe Michelle Jersin will do the same thing?

I like how Tommy G repeats his shows. I missed Bob Ingle on with him last night and with the repeats I am able to listen back to it today.

His promotion to go to the Jerry Springer Show sounds fun. I want to try and get out of work so I can go.

Former New Jersey 101.5 host Roberta Gale posted on Tommy G's Facebook that she can't believe how great the show sounds both acoustically and content wise. She said she would be calling in in the next few weeks. She has always been a favorite of mine. I can't wait to hear her.

The cool thing about the Tommy G Show is I can get it on my iphone. I have really grown to dislike Duminski and Doyle, despite having high expectations for them since I was turned off of 101.5 by Casey and Rossi. I think the only bad thing about Tommy G is his show is only 2 hours. But the repeats help. If 101.5 were really smart they'd bring him back. He and Craig Carton were the best on there. Maybe Tommy G can also have Michelle Jerson doing a show on his station?

One other note, as a traveler I have to admit I don't know how he does it but the Spanky traffic is really a help. I travel a lot from Atlantic County to Trenton and also to New York and he's pretty accurate. When I listen to 101.5 "Traffic south" I get the impression the girl is probably good looking but doesn't know anything bout the roads I'm on, like she's just reading off a paper or something. But that's just my opinion. Keep up the good work Tommy G.

I was listening to the Tommy G Show rewind on my way to work this morning. He was talking with Michelle Jerson on the phone and she is going to be interviewing him for some TV thing at a talk radio convention in New York City this week. It was nice to hear Michelle talking with Tommy G. I haven't heard that in years.

I am glad his show is taking off.
