Tonight Started Thursday Night Football on NFL Network

Many people can't get the NFL Network like myself, not a huge lost. Im not sure what the whole story behind some cable provides like Time Warner and Cablevision not carrying the network. Did read its more the NFL's fault then some of the cable provides not carrying this network.

So lets see what coming matchups will be in conflict where people do not get the NFL Network? One game I can see having a problem is Cincinnati at NY Jets as both markets are served by Time Warner also in NY Cablevision.

11/11 Baltimore at Atlanta
11/18 Chicago at Miami
11/25 Cincinnati at NY Jets
12/2 Houston at Phiadephia
12/9 Indianapolis at Tennessee
12/16 San Fransico at San Deigo
12/23 Carolina at Pittsburgh
12/25 Dallas at Arizona

Dang! Forgot to set my fantasy football lineups last night...

FYI - In New York, the Jets/Bengals game will be simulcast on WPIX/11. They also carried last Thanksgiving's NFL Network game that involved the other area franchise, the Giants, who were beaten in Denver behind Josh "Pottymouth" McDaniels. I recall PIX made an entire event out of it, airing old football-oriented movied like "Rudy" and "Knute Rockne: All-American" all day long leading up to the game.

NFLN's carriage won't be a huge concern unless they're carrying a game of a team that is on the verge of going undefeated.

This is pretty much the only worthwhile programming NFL Network has for the entire year. None of those games are blockbuster matchups either.

On the contrary: the Colts/Titans divisional matchup has plenty of appeal, especially this late in the season.

You can tell Santa that I'll be asleep in bed, with visions of sugarplums dancing in
my head, on THAT evening! ;D

All of the games will air in both home markets via OTA carriers. It's an NFL rule.

Unless the home team doesn't sell out in time. Then it's too bad, so sad.
